JunkCarsUs is now offering a scholarship award for college and high school students looking for environmental science or ecology scholarships. We’re excited to be able to help, and we invite all interested applicants to apply.
Our company has been in the junk car removal business for over 30 years. We provide the same quality service all over the US- offering an easy way for Americans to get rid of their old junk cars. Our pick-up service is completely free, and we pay a fair price for the cars based on their scrap value.
We believe all American corporations should do their part for our youth, so we decided to create these scholarships for environmental science and ecology. This grant is available to high school juniors, seniors, and undergraduate and graduate students applying to an American college. It will be awarded to the student who submits the best essay on “How Recycling Old Cars Can Help the Environment.”
The program we’ve developed is designed to help any student in an American school, either college or high school, but we hope that it will be of particular benefit in helping to improve the chances of high school students who wish to continue their education and need help finding the money to do so.
We recognize that a high debt burden from student loans can be a challenge to overcome as students head out into the world, and it isn’t easy to find grants — anything we can do to provide money that relieves that burden, we’re happy to do it.
How to apply?
Eligible candidates can submit their completed scholarship application in PDF format on the abovementioned topic. When submitting your application:
- Attach your student ID or other documentation that confirms your student status
- Include your completed project
- Remember to be innovative and present a unique approach
- When including visual content, be sure to include descriptive comments
Who can apply?
Only current students are eligible to apply for this scholarship award. You must be currently enrolled in a high school, college, or university program at a recognized U.S. school.
- Graduate students
- High school seniors
- High school juniors
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Must have an 1150 SAT score or 27 ACT score or higher
- Applicants must be studying in the USA
- Must have a minimum unweighted 3.5 GPA.

How will applications be reviewed?

- We’re looking for quality, innovation, and original content, and all submissions will be assessed based on these criteria.
- We’re looking for candidates who stand out because of their talent and creativity. You should demonstrate an apparent problem-solving ability.
- The candidate that combines all of these qualities and presents them clearly will be awarded the scholarship
What is the deadline?
It isn’t easy to find valuable scholarships in today’s competitive world. Even when you find a scholarship that you qualify for, you may have already missed the deadline. At JunkCarsUs we wanted to create a process that was open and transparent. Our deadline is clear, and we provide ample time for candidates to apply before the next school year:
- The applications are open from 14.05.2020 to 14.05.2021
- One winner will be chosen by 14.05.2021.
